All about the Kitty C-- I mean webmaster!

As you probably know my name is Zell. I'm gonna be 30 next year!

I'm originally from the midwest (US) and have spent most my life here. I plan on making a huge move soon so that's what my focus is IRL currently!

I've never joined a college but enjoy learning passively or actively in my day to day life. I can communicate in basic Korean but can read/comprehend more intermediate Korean. I started learning Hangul (the alphabet) in high school when I decided the romanizations of the Korean Music I wanted to sing along to weren't doing it for me. My studying became passive after 2014 but in 2017 I dove back into studying. My Korean learning resources will be in my resources tab if you are interested. There's a lot of great stuff out there to learn Korean nowadays.

As far as HTML/CSS/javascript, I was able to play with it back in the day on matmice/freewebs. My understanding was very basic at the time, I would use premade layouts (still do sometimes lol) and what not, but I retained a lot of it. Both those sites don't exist anymore. Aqua Fairy (in my art->'00s vault) is the only digital thing I have from that time that I created. My brother just duplicated the hard drive from that era of my life so when he gets those files to me I WILL be putting them in the 00's vault. It's mostly gonna be MS Paint drawings and screenshots from those dress-up-doll sites, from what I can remember.

Soooo... video games. I've played them since I was a child (the 90s), I believe the SNES was the first console I played on. Games such as Donkey Kong Country, LEGEND, The Incredible Crash Dummies. We soon after ended up with an N64. Most the games were my brother's, so like Perfect Dark and 007 Golden Eye, are the only games I can remember us having (we def had more and rented Donkey Kong 64 at one point) and I was only allowed to watch him play those ones.

Fast forward to 2002. 9/11 has happened, I'm a second grader, and I have my very own Gameboy Color. Pokemon Blue was my shit, and since I had Blue Version child me felt that I needed to pick the water starter. That was my main game for a few years, every now and then I'd pick up Street Fighter II (I still own this to this day somehow) and see what that game has to offer. But I always came back to Pokemon. (this section is a WIP)

ANYWAAY, I've been on neocities since July 2024. Have done digital art on tablets/iPads since 2021. Have had my own computer profile login since 2000.

I've been out as trans/nonbinary since 2014. Started Testosterone July of 2015, and chose to discontinue in 2020. July of 2023 I had top-surgery and it still today leaves me amazed with my reality. I am so grateful to have had that surgery. I definitely had signs of gender dysphoria and non-conforming tastes all throughout my childhood and had a few moments in high school where my egg was cracking and it overwhelmed me and I just told myself to ignore those thoughts/not give them time. Right before I turned 18 I realized I was gonna be a whole ass person and it cracked and I waited till after graduation to fully come out. I literally turned 18 and then graduated 2 days later. And now I'm here ~
